Support for carers

The Ovanåker Municipality Carers Centre is a social service for all carers who support or care for another person, friend or relative, for any reason.

As a carer you are invaluable, but sometimes you may also need support and time for yourself.

The support you receive can be temporary or more regular depending on your situation.

It costs nothing to contact us or to obtain help, support and advice. You may be anonymous and we maintain confidentiality.

The Carers Centre can offer:

• information and counseling
• help so you can take a break
• meetings with other carers
• lectures
• help to get in touch with the municipality's activities, associations and other organizations
